Clean Eating Gluten Free Brownies
Recipe adapted from Sugar Free Mom

Ingredients
- 1/4cup coconut oilmelted
- 1/4cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2tsp vanilla extract
- 2/3cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 flax egg
- 1/2cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1cup of your favourite gluten free flour blend**add 1/2 tsp xanthan gum**
- 1/2tsp baking powder
- 1/2tsp sea salt
- 2-4 packets Sweetleaf Steviadepending how sweet you like your brownies
- 1/2cup dairy free chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F.

To make a flax egg, in a small cup, mix 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed with 3 Tbps water. Let sit.

In a bowl, whisk together coconut oil, almond milk, vanilla, applesauce, and flax egg.

Add cocoa, flour, xanthan gum, baking powder, salt, and stevia. Stir together.

Stir in chocolate chips.

Line an 8 x 8 baking pan with parchment paper.

Add batter to pan and use a spatula to spread batter evenly in pan.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
